The Jaipur atelier operates under a single constraint: no stone leaves until the cutter has approved the proportion by eye, not by specification. Our gemologists have held this post for a combined forty-seven years.

Goldsmithing
The Florentine cell traces its lineage to the late Renaissance goldsmithing tradition. Every bench tool is hand-forged in the workshop. No power tools below 0.5mm tolerances — the hand is more precise than the machine at that scale.

Urushi lacquer requires sixty-day cure cycles between each of twelve coats. The Kyoto cell does not rush the drying room. An object that arrives in eight months was made correctly. One that arrives in four was not.

Alabaster from the Atlas quarries carries a translucence that no synthetic material replicates. Our carvers read the stone's grain under natural light before a single mark is made. The first cut is the riskiest — and the most deliberate.

The Process
Raw materials are graded by origin, optical quality, and structural integrity before entering the workshop. A gemstone that fails the first grade never becomes an object.
The material dictates the form. We do not force stone into shapes it resists. The form that emerges is the one the material was always capable of.
Every object is designed for five generations of use. Surfaces that age with beauty. Joints that do not rely on adhesive. Finishes that can be renewed.
