Ebony Writing Desk

Macassar ebony sourced through our certified supply chain in Sulawesi. The desk's geometry was drawn from the proportions of early Meiji-era scholar furniture, then redrawn for the scale of a modern apartment. Joinery is entirely mortise and tenon — no adhesives, no fasteners.
